Dark Rye Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blanched almond flour (not almond meal)
  • 3/4 cup 1/2  teaspoon celtic sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4  cup water
  • 2 tablespoons caraway seeds

Directions

  1.  Preheat your oven to 350°F

  2. In a large bowl combine almond flour, flax, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar

  3. In a smaller bowl combine eggs, oil, and water

  4. Stir wet ingredients into dry, then mix in caraway seeds

  5. Allow batter to sit for 2 minutes to thicken

  6. Transfer batter into a greased 7.5 x 3.5 magic line loaf pan or 7.5 x 3.75 fox run pan

  7. Bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes
